MALUE // Martin Lüdicke is a pianist/keyboardist and producer from Berlin currently touring with Magro, Leona Berlin, Berlin-based hip-hop collective The Swag, Julian Adler and Patricia Kelly (of The Kelly Family). Known for his innovative use of keyboards and synthesizers in jazz, hip-hop, fusion and electronic music, he creates a fresh crossover distinctly unique in the German music scene. While in recent years he has worked mainly as a session/touring musician and musical director for various artists, Martin currently focuses on releasing his debut album PORTALS coming out in 2025 which will be a caleidoscope of his different stylistic musical influences.
Before studying at Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne, Martin spent years of his childhood practicing the Suzuki method of classical piano, successfully participating in numerous international competitions. He has played piano/keyboards in the famous German musical Tanz Der Vampire, worked as a musical director for AIDA Cruises, won numerous scholarships with different projects and is a regular member at Berlin's famous hip-hop band The Swag. In 2022, Magro's Trippin' won the German Jazz Award for debut album of the year, an album on which he contributed keyboards and synthesizers. In 2024, he had a residency at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida as a musical director with Julian Adler & Band.
He has played or worked with notable names such as Jocelyn B. Smith, Noah Slee, K.I.Z, Mach One, Sebastian Studnitzky, Jadu, Marianne Neumann, SWR Bigband, Sean Haefeli, Tal Arditi, Taz Chernill, Gigi LaMayne, Kenny Wesley, Namakau Star, Tóke, Roqy Tyraid, Jona Selle (JONA), Caxxianne, Susan Sideropoulos, Heen, Aldre Michael Williams, Thala, Thomas Stieger, Francesco Beccaro, Igor Osypov, Emily Intsiful, IUMA, Marvin Game, Jens Gilles and Hannah Mawi.
